Even though it’s been a while, Katherine is no stranger to the award show. In 2007, she won for her role as Izzie Stevens on Grey’s. Then, in 2008, she declined to have her work recognized. “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention,” she said at the time. She later admitted she was “embarrassed” by her actions, and even apologized to creator Shonda Rimes.
