The Full ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 20 Trailer Is Here — and Full of Surprises

A few weeks back, we got a short tease of what’s to come in the 20th season of Grey’s Anatomy — well, buckle up for the full, drama-packed trailer to whet your appetite for the next installment of the longest-running prime-time medical drama on TV.

The Full 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 20 Trailer Is Here — and Full of Surprises

While we already knew some of the juicy storylines that we’ll see play out — the interns are working Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) last nerve, while Lucas (Niko Terho) and Simone (Alexis Floyd) need to figure out what to do with their messy romantic situation, for example — this new trailer also reveals some new threads we’re keen to see explored when Grey’s returns.

Perhaps the biggest is the return of Jessica Capshaw as Dr. Arizona Robbins! In true Arizona fashion, she says in the trailer “so, who wants to make history?” undoubtedly teeing up a can’t-miss moment in season 20, the details of which we don’t quite yet know, so we’ll just have to tune in an find out.

Elsewhere, the arrival of Dr. Beltran (Natalie Morales), the new pediatric surgeon, seemingly comes with some drama, as Beltran does not get off on a good foot with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) when the two get into a little beef over a parking space (who hasn’t been there, eh?).

Another whopper? We see Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) scrubbing in, leaving us wondering just how much more we are going to see of her in season 20 … and if there’s more story to tell about her and Nick (Scott Speedman). We’ll be anxiously awaiting the premiere to find out.

Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 return to ABC on Thursday, March 14.
