The Chrisleys are returning to TV. While Todd and Julie Chrisley are in prison, their children will star in a new unscripted docuseries.

The untitled series, announced by Scout Productions on Aug. 14, is described as “the continuation” of the family’s story following Chrisley Knows Best, which was canceled in 2022 after Todd and Julie were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison for conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud.

In a press release, Rob Eric, Scout Productions’ chief creative officer, said that the Chrisleys are “ready to bring their signature heart and quirk back to the fans.”

Meanwhile, Todd and Julie’s daughter Savannah Chrisley explained, “The time was right to share our story and we couldn’t have found better partners in Scout Productions. They’re [sic] ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unrivaled and I know they’re going to find the right home for this next chapter of our lives,” adding, “We’re so happy to be back.”

No premiere date has been announced since the series is currently in development.

While Chrisley Knows Best aired on USA Network, it has not yet been revealed which network (or streamer) will be home to the new untitled series.

He wished his father a happy birthday in April, writing on Instagram, “I love you and I’m beyond proud of the man, father and husband that you are! We live in a broken world with a broken system but I have faith that we will be together soon! Until then I love you and we will hold it down!”

Savannah Chrisley

Born Aug. 11, 1997, the 26-year-old former beauty queen (she won the Miss Tennessee Teen USA title in 2016) is a real-estate agent and the founder of SASSY, a cosmetics company.

With her parents in prison, she’s also raising her younger brother, Grayson, and niece Chloe. “I don’t feel adequate enough for this job,” she said on Jan. 31, 2023 episode of her podcast Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley. “I am not my mother, which I wish I was. Because she is the kindest, most loving, most amazing human being I’ve ever met. I always said if I could be half of her I would be OK. I guess in moments like these I realize I’m more like my mom than I realize because I’m getting through it. I find the strength to get through it and do it.”
