Soap Stars Shine at The Hollywood Show
For fans, The Hollywood Show is a fantastic opportunity to meet some of their favorite stars from film and television. Since 1979, the event has brought celebrities together to interact with their fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos. There are also tons of collectible memorabilia for sale.
The Hollywood Show also features plenty of soap stars past and present. The most recent gathering hosted stars from ALL MY CHILDREN, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, GENERAL HOSPITAL, PASSIONS, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. There were also some primetime sudsers represented, including some of the original stars of DALLAS!
Joan Van Ark may have been the original Gloria Fisher on Y&R, but she’ll always be best known for playing Valene Ewing on KNOTS LANDING!
DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Deidre Hall (Marlena) joined Judy Strangis, her former co-star on the 1976 children’s series ELECTRA WOMAN AND DYNA GIRL.
Leigh McCloskey has appeared in numerous films and television series throughout his extensive career, but daytime fans will remember him as the evil rapist Zack Kelton on SANTA BARBARA as well as the look-alike attorney Ethan Asher in the ‘80s. In the ‘90s, the actor played Damian Smith on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and then the recurring role of Dr. Kurt Costner on Y&R.
Famous for playing the witch Tabitha on NBC’s PASSIONS for its entire run, Juliet Mills has an extensive show biz career spanning stage and screen. She starred as Nanny on NANNY AND THE PROFESSOR, and appeared in countless primetime series like WONDER WOMAN, THE LOVE BOAT, FANTASY ISLAND, and DYNASTY.
Before joining the cast of B&B as Stephen Logan, Patrick Duffy found fame playing Bobby Ewing on DALLAS and reunited at The Hollywood Show with some of his original co-stars including Steve Kanaly, Priscilla Presley, and Charlene Tilton!
Currently starring as Deacon on B&B, Sean Kanan was also signing merchandise from his role of Mike Barnes in The Karate Kid III as well as promoting his book Way of the Cobra.
Another DALLAS star who also appeared on B&B (as Priscilla Kelly), Linda Gray spent some time with fellow Ewing family member Tilton.
Known to ABC Daytime fans as Chris Stamp, one of Erica Kane’s many men from ALL MY CHILDREN, Jack Scalia has tons of primetime credits to his name, including (like many other stars at this edition of The Hollywood Show) DALLAS!
